Queen HD the DJ is a self taught DJ from Baltimore, MD who’s most passionate about music and the emotional release it provides. Her adoration for music and utmost respect and appreciation of turntablism date back to her teen years, when she first discovered turntables and heard the record “Feel me Flow '' by Naught by Nature. Her sound is influenced by artists such as Dj Scratch, Dj Angelo and Queen Latifah. She has traveled internationally and domestically upon request to battle, perform, and represent her beloved city, Baltimore. She has participated and won DJ battles in New York, DC and Atlanta.  With such growing recognition for her impeccable scratching skills and nostalgic sound, she had the greatest privilege of being the opening act for THEE Doug E. Fresh. She also has the versatility to cross over into different venues such as department stores (Apple, BodyArmor, Cricket Wireless ,Nordstroms, Savage Fenty, Ashley Stewart, DTLR, Shoe City, Metro PCs, Boost Mobile, Luster Pink) and entertainment based city events (The Universal Soul Circus The Washington Sprit, and the Wizards). In 2022, Queen HD was flown out to London, Uk for an artist residency. While in London, she Djed London's #1 Queer Party "Queer Bruk". When she returned to the states, Queen HD headlined the Vegan Soul Fest in Baltimore, MD. She also headlined the same festival the following year. In 2023, Queen HD received a call from the White House, requesting for her to DJ  Joe Biden's Pride Celebration at the White House.  She is the First Queer, Black Woman to DJ at the south lawn. Queen HD is currently working towards nurturing and developing her career as a Master DJ to ideally impact the world and the DJ game. Queen HD is the Official DJ for the Washington Spirit. Her overall mission is to share her love for music by continuing to collaborate with companies and organizations that welcome, embrace and encourage creating avenues that connect music and community.
